Reverie is a piano piece by Claude Debussy, written in 1890, and published in 1891. This atmospheric piece for solo piano anticipates the composer’s later works. It was first performed in 1899 by Germaine Alexandre. It is listed as L. 86 in François Lesure’s catalogue of Debussy’s works. Lang Lang’s performance is one of my favorites.
